With the idea from Principal, Mrs. Ancy Jose, the alumni association was formed in the year 2001 and has been active since. Our committee comprises of 12 members who are ex-students since 1993, from different backgrounds and industries.
The KAA was officially established in the academic year 2002-2003. The KAA is formed to promote a lifelong relationship between College and Alumnus and increase fellowship amongst the members of the Association.
The Association aims to support student activities and to promote the development of current students and contribute to the growth of the Institute.
The purpose of the Alumni Association is to:
- Promote a lifelong relationship to both the College and Alumnus.
- Strengthen the links and contacts between the college and its Alumni;
- Increase fellowship among the members of the Alumni Association;
- Promote mutually beneficial contacts between students and Alumni;
- Support student activities to supplement and diversify the educational experiences available at the college.
- To elevate the knowledge of the students about career options and initiate recruitment through establishing personal networks over time.
- Promote the identity and image of the College both nationally and internationally;
- Ensure a visible and effective Alumni presence on and off campus;
- Assist the college in obtaining human and financial resources necessary to fulfill its mission.
ACTIVITIES:
The KAA organises many academic and cultural activities for the current students and old students. E.g. Navratri, Corporate & Educational/ Informative Seminars, Career Guidance, DJ Nites, Etc.
ROLE :
The college has built and strengthened your fundamentals and prepared you to face the corporate world, you owe a lot to the college. By becoming a part of the alumni you can share your ideas and experiences with the college and help it grow and improve its services.
MEMBERSHIP:
- Life Time Membership fee Rs.1500/-
- 5 Yearly membership – Rs. 550/-
