The Collegeregularly organizes workshops at collegiate, state and national level on thepertinent academic topics.


Forthcoming Workshop:

Following are some of the successful seminars:

  • Workshop on revised syllabus of MCom Part I and revised question paper pattern of MCom Part II. Date: 17th July, 2013 from 10am to 2pm. For detailed programme schedule, click here. 

  • UGC Sponsored National Workshop on ‘Statistical Applications in Commerce and Humanities’ was organized in 2010 (February) (Report).

  •  The College organizes many in-house workshops. Following are some of the in-house workshops. A workshop was held on Internal Quality Audit ISO 9001:2008 was conducted on 22- 23 June, 2010. 
  • A workshop on “Web tools for learning and teaching”was conducted on 6th and 7th October 2010 and the speaker was Prof. Ravindra Dastikop.
  • The training programme Maximizing Productivity with Office 2010” was conducted from 14th to 21stJune, 2011, by the professionals from NIIT. About 15 staff members were actively present for this week long training programme.

  • A talk was organised for the faculty on “Present Global Economic Scenario and India’s Position in it” on 15th of December, 2011 by Shri Minoo Shroff, President of the Forum of Free Enterprise. He explained in comparative terms the current global economic scenario and how India has been managing it.

  • A workshop was conducted to introducethe new Credit Based Grading System of University of Mumbai to the degree collegeteachers on 23rd June 2011. 40 teachers from our college as well asfrom the nearby colleges were present. Dr. Madhu Nair, Dean of Commerce,University of Mumbai and Dr S.K. Raju, member of Board of Studies addressed theparticipants and answered their queries. It was a one day workshop and in thelast session feedback was collected from the participants.
